About Us

Durable Castings has its own specialised pattern shop and pattern makers on site, allowing us to take either your drawings or sample castings and manufacture patterns from them, thus enabling us to produce a finished product to your exact specification. We can also offer in house heat treatment for castings that require this process, all these services are available under one roof at Durable Castings. Within our small dedicated team we have qualified metallurgists with over 30 years experience in the foundary industry. We also have over 20 years of experience in Crushing and Asphalt plant operation.

We have recently invested in an Arun Spectrometer which enables us to test the material in the furnace prior to the pouring process, to ensure that the material being cast adheres to specification, these can be to British or Continental standards.

A certificate of analysis is kept for every batch of castings that we produce.
